Gold vs. White unis

I noticed today that we were again wearing the gold unis .. and were wearing white for the UW game.

Guy next to me thought he remembered MU wearing white for the NDSU game, meaning the white unis are 0-2.

Is that right, or have we worn the whites for any other victories?

.. Sure liked it better when we busted out the golds for big games only.

I noticed that too.  It seems like we always saved the gold jerseys for National Marquette Day, Al's Night, and big games.

Now I like the white jerseys the best, but if we are 0-2 in them I'd like to not see them again.

Take away the road game (and Hillsdale), notice a trend?  Win - stay with the uni's, lose - change them next game.

TC has said in the past that the players pick the uniforms.  I am glad they are wearing more gold.  99 percent of teams in the country wear white at home, why be like everyone else when we can wear gold at home.

That might explain the changes after a loss.  Players tend to be more superstitious.
