10 Players Claim Awards; McNeal Named MVP

Milwaukee – Marquette University recognized the accomplishments of its 2007-08 men's basketball program at the team's annual awards banquet Thursday night, held at the Alumni Memorial Union on campus.

A total of 10 players shared the 12 awards announced at the event.  Junior Jerel McNeal was called to the podium a total of three times to lead the squad, while sophomore Lazar Hayward claimed two plaques.
