I would imagine that if we had a true, legally binding contract, then the fact that TC left wouldn't affect our relationship with Converse. I hope that's the case because I thought we had a pretty good and pretty unique thing going. I hope D-Wade continues to hook us up. Indiana is an adidas school (I think) so I doubt TC will be pulling away the Converse connection.

Anyone know the specifics of the deal?

Don't rule out the possibility that CONVERSE had a voice in this hire.  Shoe companies spend a lot of money establishing relationships with schools, and coaches, and don't take too kindly to having another shoe company's "coach" show up at their "school."

Dwyane Wade went to Marquette, and will always be connected to the university, not the coach. I think DWade remains our biggest fan, and I don't see the deal going away anytime soon.

It is Wade brand and Wade has nothing to do with Indiana no matter what TC does or says.

I'd assume the deal with converse is fine.
