Don't know if we'll hear (or how soon) if anyone else was even interviewed/offered this job? Any employer HAS to interview at least more than one person. I hope some of the backstory about what went down is able to come out.

I'll reserve judgment on Buzz. Looking forward to the team playing early in the season in my backyard at the Chicago Inviational.

Not sure if its accurate, but whatever loacl news channel I was watching (12 maybe) said Buzz was believed to be the only candidate who actually interviewed.

I really hope that they talked to more than just Buzz beyond the back channels. If not, then this was a really weak coaching search.

No, I'm sure they 'talked to' others as well, but Buzz is supposedly the only one who had a sit down. I certainly hope so anyway.

Didn't Crappingham say they were going to do an "exhaustive and aggressive" search for a new coach?  If they interviewed only one candidate...holy cow, I'd like to see what their version of a "narrow and passive" search is...
