Crean has moved on to Indiana.   Now we will find out if the naysayers are right and he is more a showman than a coach.   He will have no excuses to not recruit bigs.   They will be flinging themselves at him like Asian carp at a Mississippi river fisherman.    IT IS TIME TO LET IT GO!!!!!!!!     HE'S GONE!!!!!!   Now we find out whether Marquette basketball is a brand that can sustain, take a huge hit, and emerge out the other side in a couple of years, or if it really was Crean for the last 9 years, 190 wins.    Take a deep cleansing breath in through the nose, hold it for 3 seconds, and let it out.   With it, let the vitriol go.   Let's worry about the new coach, the lost recruiting class, the Mbakwe transfer, and whether or not we finish .500 next year.

pretty hard to consider the lost recruiting class, the Mbakwe transfer and the prospect of not finishing above .500 next year and not be vitriolic!

... ?-(

That's a new one to me, haha.

A lot of people are upset because next season would have been a beastly season if everything had stayed intact...but with the foundation being yanked out from underneath the team faster than a magician's tablecloth with fine china and crystal glasses on top (but with far less magic and smoothness)...every thing's come close to shattering.

MU fans' blood pressures will be elevated like DJ on an open fast break until any kind of resolution is reached.

You're sending mixed messages there.  I'm mad at Crean for all of those things.  It certainly won't be the new coaches fault if we don't succeed the next two years.  It'll be his fault if we do succeed, because incoming players will have a lot to do with it, but not if we lose - that is all on Crean for a variety of reasons.
