MU rebounds from slow start

Written by: Emmett Prosser

For the second straight game, Marquette has rebounded from a very sluggish start. MU has not been able to get its transition game going, but after falling behind 7-0, the Golden Eagles are grtting better defensive position on the Lopez twins, forcing Stanford's guards to make plays.

It appears Jerel McNeal is locked in again and Dominic James just hit his first three-pooint attempt. That has to be a good omen for Marquette nation.

Marquette tied the game at 11 on a three by Dan Fitzgerald.

Will Marquette's pressure get to Stanford, or will Stanford's size be a factor early?
