He needs to take the pot holders off his hands soon.

Thank you for creating this, I can't stand Ousmane.  Terrible defense from Ousmane.  He always comes out on the guards for no reason leaving people open down low.  He can't catch the ball for crap and fouls for no reason.  I wish he were 300lbs then he might be worth a little something.

I was reacting to his getting 2 passes in a row all by himself under the basket only to have them bounce off his chest.  I think you may be a tad harsh here.

Seriously though, Barro has bothered me all year and this game just strengthens it.  I honestly can't name more than one positive to his game.  I wish he would be aggressive and act like a big guy but maybe that's not in his nature.

I'd say you're way too harsh on Barro, despite the fact that sometimes he has feet for hands.

Yikes.

Take it easy on the guy.

He's just a role player... and he clearly busts his a** every game.

It was a bad sequence when he twice fumbled away passes right under the bucket, and there was one time in the first half he had the ball blocked because he IMO did not go up strong and dunk it.  BUT, He is a role player and I think more often than not when he flashes up high off of a pick, it confuses the guards and even though he leaves the paint, I don't think we're hurt by it too often.

My only gripe with Ooze, and one he can control and is within his skill set, is that he does not finish strong - he uses the glass way too much instead of slamming it home and stuffing it.  He would score more and be fed mroe if he did that.

I won't lie.  I was screaming at him after those two dropped passes.  Hopefully he can step it up against the Lopez twins.

Let's not forget the kid played no high school basketball.  He is what he is...he busts his butt.

Jack Harbaugh made some very impassioned comments about him today at the rally, hoping someone has those that can post them.  It puts everything into perspective.

I'm sorry, and I know he does not have the most experience.  But, I want MU to win more than anything, and having Ousmane in the game often hurts our chances of winning.  I like the guy a lot, just not the player.

Understand your passion, but our bigs are what they are...passionate guys that try hard but will have to get by on effort more so than talent.

I thought Ooze did a nice job on defense at times today, other times he was a bit lost.  Burke, same situation where he did some good things and then got some cheapy body fouls.  Nevertheless, those two guys did what they had to do and we move on.

Saturday will be very difficult for them, there is no doubt.  They know, Stanford knows it, we all know it.  But, let's see if we can get another maximum effort out of those two, Trend and Trevor and let the chips fall where they may.

Very true.  If they can stand their ground and if we can get great production from our guards we can win!  I am nervous but hopeful.

All I ask of Ous Saturday is, when you get it inside - focus on the rim, go up strong and DUNK it!  Don't be tentative, don't shy away from contact.  (This coming from a former JV player who is 5' 11" on a good day.  LOL)

While Barro can be frustrating at times, he is vital to any success we have. You can't survive with the tallest guy out there being 6-8 for very long. Also, at least one of the passes he was fumbling around yesterday was a terrible leave by either James or McNeal and Barro did a good job just to get a hand on it.

I thought he keyed one of the biggest sequences in the game when he deflected a pass that led to a bucket and followed that up with a block that led to a transition basket for us. He'll have his work cut out for him against Stanford though. Their bigs are athletic and skilled.

I hope we increase the pressure on Stanford's guards. Despite our depth at guard, we don't pressure the ball as much as I think we could. We'll need to against Stanford.
