let's hear the craziest, most outrageous gameday plans for UW that shows your faith to ole MU

i'm getting up at 6 to be at the Bradley by 7 when student lineup starts, hopefully staying warm with some 'hot chocolate'. i'm sure someone can top this, i challenge YOU, muscoopers

on a sidenote, a friend of mine who works for MU radio said that a reliable source told him that there were something like 22,000 tix sold for the game (not to mention the fanatic section is oversold by 300 some tickets, which someone on this board previously mentioned). if this is true (which i haven't decided yet if i fully believe this) then this game will be one for the ages

GO MU!

Not much of a one up, but i'm getting up at 5 AM, running to the Bradley center and waiting across the street till 7 at which point I will sprint across the street to the BC. And I will have "Hot Cider." See you there!

Some friends and I made shirts and a poster...Look for us on ESPN. We'll be the ones in yellow!

The student lineup will be started much eariler than 7am, but it will be across the street.

only one hot cider?  might consider bringing a full thermos.......
looks to be a perfect brisk morning  ;D

22,000 tickets .. that's gotta be wrong.  BC only holds ~19k .. no way MU sold 3000 standing room only seats, even if you account for suites.

I'm chartering a Toyota minivan with five MU fans to depart Chicago's northside approximately at 10 a.m. The feature attraction will be a matinee of "Hoosiers"...wish I had MU/UK on DVD, but I don't, so Coach Norman Dale will have to provide the inspiration. Then some Bloody Mary's at Goolsby's and a short trek to the BC around 12:30. Can't wait!

Game will be watched from home.  Probably a dozen people or so.  Pregame viewing will include the '77 Championship game.  Coolers will be set up in the TV room to avoid that 'long' walk to the fridge.  Wearing Depends might be going too far however.  After watching Matthews grab a critical rebound, get fouled, and sink both freebies to seal the victory, I'm off to the Wizards/Rockets game.  God I hope Steve gets off the bench.

Can you stop through Dallas on your way?

Nothing too crazy before, get up at 6:30, leave at 7, make 2.5-3hr trek to Milwaukee from New Lenox (near Joliet).

Arrive at Goolsby's at 10, proceed to have first shot of chilled Southern Comfort and start the first, of what, is to be many pitchers of beer.

After that it's the old saying "What happens in Milwaukee, stays in Milwaukee".

IAmMarquette

I'll be arriving at GameTime no later than 11am. Draughts will be quaffed, wings will be scarfed, voices will be lost, Bucky will be f*cked (at the BC).

My week was like the 12 days of Christmas.  I watched a great game of MU past each night this week.  MU/Georgetown '06 Tuesday, MU/Pitt '03 (NCAA tourney) Wed., MU/ND '06 yesterday, MU/UConn '06 tonight, and tomorrow morning I'll be watching MU/Kentucky '03 before I head up to Milwaukee to meet friends at Goolsby's at 10.  I expect to be completely intoxicated the rest of the day after we win and making many many unintelligent decisions.  Fire up MU!!!

well my day just accidentally happened to land on the same day as the MU/WI game... however my friends and I out here in little old platteville host a Big Ball tournament, which is merely a homerun derby with a children ball and childs bat, all the while drinking, more details that reallydon't matter, however I think I am one of maybe 2 people that are going that aren't Wisconsin fans, besides the people that I am converting (the ones that were on the fence, that I am convincing to wear yellow underneath their coats!)  so now they are putting a TV on their porch, it shall be a good time as I watch the BADger fans cry
