New Converse Wade shoe to debut tomorrow?

According to a post on this weblog, the Wade 3.0 is set to debut during the MU vs Kentucky game on thursday.

On a different note, how much do you all feel that MU is set to benefit from switching to Converse for their equipment sponsorship?  I have never seen the school get publicity in places that might actually matter...like full page spreads in ESPN mag or on the front page of major college basketball websites.

It could coincide with joining the Big East and thus becoming more marketable, but whatever, it's cool as hell.

Converse.com has Marquette on the opening page now.  Also I would guess that the Commercial will air during the game, but I haven't heard for sure.
