Coppin State punches their ticket

Coppin State wins the MEAC tournament 62-60 over Morgan State and gets an automatic bid and what will amount to a spot in the play-in game on Tuesday.  This is the team that MU hammered one night in December, only for them to go to Indiana for an 11 a.m. tilt the next morning to get handed anohter loss.  Their coach will play anyone in nonconference and live on the road (they went well over a month without a home game and nearly two months without a win at one point), hoping to collect money and get experience against tough teams to make his team stronger in conference play.  Looks like it worked, because after starting 4-19, they're at 16-20 and the first team to make the NCAA tournament with 20 losses.

After just losing to a bad UGA team, playing their second game of the day, Miss State should probably be forced to play Coppin St. in that play in game.
