Hopefully, what's planned is:

Go all-in on getting Miles Byrd, Nolan Minnesale, and a decent Center.

Pair those with the returnees and we have a 50th anniversary team worthy of Al, Hank, and Rick's 1977 Warriors!

CBS just had a brief segment discussing Byrd. He's also being aggressively pursued by the likes of Louisville, Michigan, Florida, Kentucky, and Auburn, to name a few. Assuming highest bidder wins, I think it's safe to assume he's landing elsewhere.
