Marquette v. U. Wisconsin - Madison in High Def?
« on: December 05, 2006, 09:28:13 AM »
Anyone know if the game is going to be on ESPNHD?  Listing doesn't show thus far, but not always correct.

Thanks.

I've been wondering the same thing.  It's not on the HD schedule.

Maybe chicos could find out?

not like it matters for me, the city of Platteville doesn't believe in technology, we still lack ESPN Classic, Cartoon Network, as well as many other programs, we have about 40 channels, costs just as much as my parents who have HD, DVR as well as many other things, man I love going to a school in the boonies

It is scheduled to be on ESPNHD as I already have my DVR set to record it.

Yes, but will it actually be in HD?  Or just put on the HD channel too.  I know the Florida / Kansas game was like that.  It was on the HD channel, but only in SD.  Here's the HD schedule.  They only show sportscenter on at that time, so at least the timeslot is open.  Whether they have enough HD equipment (and can get it to MKE) is probably the issue.

Correct.  It's costly to do HD production still so I would not be surprised if the game is NOT in true HD but rather shown on the ESPNHD channel...I do have a call into my friends in Bristol, CT to find out.
