One of the greatest goalies ever.

Dryden was Montreal's mainstay during the time I became a big hockey fan, so I remember him well. I rooted for the Rangers, and I hated that we could never beat him or Bernie Parent.

He also was an interesting, cerebral guy. He retired while seemingly in his prime.  and went on to be a lawyer, author and politician.
