Smacking St.J is needed from a confidence standpoint.

We should really enjoy that we kicked the crap out of SH, Providence, and GT.  Especially the GT thumping as it very likely may be the last win of the season.

Are you the poster who said we may have seen our last win of the season PRIOR to kicking the crap out of those 3 teams?

I am the one that said likely 3-7 to finish the season.    So it may wind up 4-6 (assuming STJ loss) but I did not predict Sorber would be out for GT...

0 - 4 voters looking like realists and not whack-a-doo fanbois who didn't see another MU team peaking way too early.

Still an weirdly interesting poll. it won't take us into March Madness I think. I see us winning at least 1 in BET. we're playing decent.

Come on - it was obvious this team was fine and just needed to hit thier wide open shots.

Decent..now that is an interesting description.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

It's true. Two tough losses for sure. We could play better for sure. But we played decent in both.

ATL MU Warrior

I've been as down on the team as anyone going all the way back to early/mid January, but if someone can't acknowledge that we've played pretty well in these last two, they are beyond rational thought. Sometimes the other team just has a better day, or gets the right bounce at the right time.  We are playing light years better than in late January and most of February.

Thread bump for @wadesworld

Congrats to the 21 (including myself) who were correct with the 1 - 3 record vote.

We win NOTHING other than knowing we are complete realists on who and what this team is.

We look forward to the post season knowing that anything more than 1 win is an over achievement that we'll be proud of for this underwhelming 2nd half of the season team!

Marquette always plays well.  Unless they don't.  But even then, they mostly play well. Unless they don't.  Then they very rarely play well.  But usually they play well more often than rarely.

Well, they play.

We have to get back to challenging every pass. And Shaka's teams seem to do better when the scores are higher. Some of it is natural but Marquette averages about 80 points on average in their wins and in the upper 60s on average in their losses.

Did the math. Again some of this is natural but

In Marquette Wins Marquette averaged 82 points rounded to the nearest point.
In Marquette Losses Marquette averaged 67 points rounded. to the nearest point.
Marquette plays better in general in higher scoring games.

Obviously MU wins when making 3's like 1st half yesterday.
Goal is National Championship
