Is there a better point guard than DJ in the Big East?  With his defense and playmaking ability, he brings value to every game he plays.  When he hits his shots like he did last night, he's a great player.  I can't think of a point guard in the BE I'd rather have than Mr. James.

I agree completely....AJ Price would be a close #2 (both will probably make All Big-East), the the poor man's Dominic James (Scottie Reynolds) would be a distant third in my book

As great as a game DJ had last night, it still was just one game. Overall, A.J. Price is having a better season and putting up bigger numbers. His team is playing very well and he's really carried their team after Dyson got suspended. Add to the fact you have national media people like Bilas syaing he's the best PG in the BE - this only helps give him more of an advantage in terms of exposure. I still think DJ is the best PG in the BE though. Just think if he had a big like Thabeet to dump off to on his way to the rim and draw other team's attention to like Price has. Makes a big difference.

Thabeet isn't that great at catching and scoring.  But your point is well taken with Adrien and a few other bench guys that can be very effective inside.  I think Price and James make 1st team.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Next year is going to be a bummer without him...if he indeed leaves.  Need to make this season a special one, and right now it's going in that direction.  This team is a lot of fun to watch.

Digger Phelps had a nice take on Crean last night.  "Tom Crean can flat out coach".

CTWarrior, you're right about Thabeet's hands. They're not great by any means. However, he still commands a lot of attention which can really make those driving and passing lanes a little easier to operate in for slashers like James. Stanley Robinson is another great athlete at 6'9" for UCONN who along with Adrien is another nice option for dishing off to.
