If your post-season basketball tournament includes Chicago State, what is the point? In addition to Chicago State (Net 296), the CBI includes Delaware State (305) and Bethune-Cookman (306).

It's a pay-to-play event and my guess is a ton of school turned them down for that reason.

Yeah, it's a mess. They couldn't even fill a 16-team bracket.

As of right now, the CIT only has nine teams listed.
