Looks like Creighton commits the least amount of fouls.

https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basketball/stat/personal-fouls-per-game

...but where is that data collected.

I ask because to say fouls don't affect the outcome of games is not always the case. UW went to the FT line twice as many times as MU and that was the difference.

Uhh, Teamrankings.com is the source for nothing. I'd go to NCAA.com

Fouls are one thing.. free throw rate is another. Reasonable proxy for each other in many cases, but different things.

Creighton's defensive free throw rate this season is incredibly low – 13.9%. That's #1 in the nation by a lot (#2 is 18.5%). The national average is 33.6%. Last season they were ranked #2.. the year before, #4.

So, what you'll see is defensively, as you might expect, their turnover rate is absolute crap. It's awful. By design. Their def eFG%, DR% and the low ft rate make up for it, resulting in their defensive efficiency being great this year, despite never turning the other team over.

Correct me if I am wrong, this is in part why Shaka fares pretty well vs. Creighton?  Our offense isn't really "designed" or requires a lot of FT's being made.  We do not draw a ton of fouls and do not shoot a ton of FTs.  So Creighton's defensive strengths are somewhat irrelvant to us and our strength can now attack their weakness.
