He's one of those guys that plays better versus better competition.

I don't have the data, but SJ22 thrives against well set and elite defenses, he's one of their kryptonites because he causes chaos

I do not think the game needs to slow down for Al, he needs minutes. The dunks were fun, but two well played blocks and great one handed rebound was better to me. I would be giving him 6-8 minutes a game regardless of who the opponent is.

Honestly, I am a Jolp fan, but he just might have been recruited over and no one saw it happen. Between Ross, Gold, the current and next year freshmen, Jolp might end up on the outside looking in.

Amadou will get less minutes the rest of the season than Jolp gets at Madison barring injury.

The positives you mention are big, show future ability, but he was fully lost on that defensive end.
Jolp has been much better on that end and that's why he finds the court.
Oh, and he's one of a few guys that can tickle the twine with ease

He's at 28.6% on the year but that's dragged down by going 2/12 against cupcakes (4/9 vs high major opponents). We need him to keep shooting, it's not like his percentage will go up if he doesn't.

He shoots such a flat ball. Honestly reminds me of Kolek two years ago. Mechanics look fine, just needs some air under it.
