I found Shaka's original audio clip calling Chase a dude, something he's done for almost a full year now and wanted to get on paper why I think he's primed for a breakout season.

Great ariticle. Watching the videos both in the article and the linked piece just got me even more excited for the season. I know we had the Big East Sixth Man of the Year last season, but I think our bench is significantly better this year just through maturation.

I was a big fan of Jamal Cain as an athlete, but not an athletic basketball player, and IMO, Ross came to MU as both, but needed to grow as a player. If he has improved as much as I think he has, the sky is the limit. To date, I think Ross and Gold are Shaka's best recruits and believe he is just getting started.

Imagine if BOTH Chase and Ben are as good as most scoopers think they will be?

Now, imagine if all three of Jop, Chase, and Ben are as good as we think they can be, and then any one of Sean/Tre/Zaide/Al are better than anyone expects...
