A true Bears Mount Rushmore player, Butkus wore the Bears colors his entire career (Incl. Univ. of Ill).

IMHO, best Middle Linebacker ever. One of the most entertaining to watch in iso, as he played with unmatched effort and zeal.

One of the all time greats.    The epitome of a great player on bad teams.  Also one of the poster children for how far sports medicine has come in 50 years.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.
