In Cignetti's two years, Indiana University applications rose 9.3 percent, and then another 10 percent. Business booming.

The Uihleins are taking a break from propping up MAGA candidates to give Northwestern football $35 million.

I'm just glad they're spending money elsewhere and this will help Marquette's cause.

Wtf?

@espn
An attorney representing Commanders QB Jayden Daniels informed LSU it can no longer use his name, image and likeness and said he felt "profoundly disrespected" after LSU allowed cornerback DJ Pickett to wear his former No. 5 jersey.

Season is just about here.  Excited for the Badgers season.  Think they win 9 and are on the cusp of a playoff berth heading into the Gopher game.  Need them to bounce back to help the Golden Eagles cause.

They have a very favorable schedule. You maybe right.

If Fickell goes into Lambeau and gets a big win, I think Matt Lafleur is firmly on the hot seat.

Then again, if Freeman wins a national title I think MLF is firmly on the hot seat as well.

LOL. As I Bears fan, I am in favor of that scenario.

I was impressed with the Fickell hire. I am shocked how bad he has been. I think UW has the resources to be a upper middle class B10 program.

MurphysTillClose

Very favorable conference schedule for MUScoop's Badgers this year. Over on the 5.5 win total seems like a safe bet. Some nice tuneups against the likes of Eastern Michigan and the Leathernecks of Western Illinois to get ready for the Big Ten season.

But in all seriousness godspeed to Colton Jospeh and those RBs playing behind that OL this year. WOOF. Trying to revert back to the old school ground game of the past, while smart, probably won't have the returns badger fans will appreciate until they start recruiting OL talent like they used to. Not even in the same stratosphere.

I'm not sure about that.  They haven't recently.  They stated they would invest more heading into this year, but we'll see how that goes.  They aren't remotely close to the likes of Indiana, Ohio State, Oregon, USC, Michigan, Penn State, or Nebraska.  I'd guess Iowa, Washington, Illinois, UCLA, and possibly even Northwestern can spend quite a bit more.
