We've got a thread for everything else!

Do you partake? Do you completely oppose the consumption of marijuana? Edibles, smoke, pen, others?

Leave the politics out of this nerds, both sides smoke.

Never have, never will. Have nothing against it.

I'm a very infrequent user, but I'm starting to think it would be a fun hobby for me.

I take edibles. Not a big smoker but will hit a pen if offered and the mood is right.

Never have, doubt I ever will.   I thought I was going to indulge in edibles in retirement.  However, my back and hip pain went away without it.
I am not against it, I just don't need it.

There are two types of people in this world.  Those that enjoy what Mother Nature provides us and morons.

Was having dinner with one of my Marquette buddies and his parents sophomore year. Conservative midwestern folks. Mother asked him if he'd ever "tried" pot. He told her that yes, he had, in fact, tried it. Followed that up with "Tried it...until I got good at it."

I smoked a decent amount in college and the couple years after. Around my mid 20s I started getting major anxiety from it so there was no real point in continuing. Used a lotion for lower back pain when I was still playing hurling and that was extremely effective. People have tried to tell me it was the strain I was using and such but I just don't have any interest in picking it back up.

I was backstage with Cypress Hill last night, but didn't smoke. I don't care for smoking anything (pawz). But, with legalization of stuff in MN, have been trying drinks and various edibles. Some really good stuff out there. Don't need a lot.  Some of these chocolates are actually delicious.

Very similar.  I smoked a bit for awhile in college.  Was very good friends with a heavy user and his roommate who was an, ahem, on campus entrepreneur.  Would smoke after classes some days or watching sports on weekends.  But rarely ever outside of that and never really had an urge to do so.  I had a roommate in my mid 20s who would blaze nearly every weekend for awhile and I think I can count the number of times I joined him over 2+ years on one hand.

But I really enjoy edibles.  Once Illinois legalized, it was fun experimenting with the different gummies and chocolate products.  Definitely had a few times where I misjudged and remember taking it and going to bed but realized I remembered maybe 30% of a movie we watched.  I also very much prefer the body buzz the edibles will give me vs smoking.

I'm don't smoke but I'll occasionally take a high CBD edible for pain relief, sleep or relaxation. I have 20:1 and 40:1. CBN (5:2)helps with sleep too

A near-4.0 student who lived on my floor freshman year smoked just about every day. He'd wake up, go to class, study, eat dinner, study some more, and then fire it up for hours. Go to bed stoned as hell, sleep, wake up, and do it all over again. His roommate also was a major stoner ... but flunked out after freshman year.

I worked that year as an usher at the Grand Cinema downtown. Most nights, I'd come back to the dorm with a huge box of popcorn. The stoner who eventually flunked out memorized my work schedule so he could meet me at the elevator when I'd get back; he wanted to be the first to dig into that popcorn.

Hards Alumni

About 5 times in my life.  Last two experiences were no fun.  Dry mouth, no fun effects, and then a distinct feeling of, "I just want this to be over".  So I went to bed.  It's been a long time.

I'm not sure what that was.  It doesn't seem to effect me the way it does other people so I don't really have a desire to participate again.  Plus, random drug testing is a thing for me so it is forbidden anyway.  I don't feel like I'm missing out, but if you enjoy it, go nuts.
