Anyone going to be at the Nova game this weekend? The game is on campus...what's the pregame situation like there? Any bars in the area?

The campus is in a suburban setting and no bars within walking distance.  Nothing special about the pregame.  Small arena and all good seats.  Should be fairly quiet since the students are gone.

Sixty percent of the students that attend are from New Jersey, PA and New York many of which are within an hours drive. I would not count on it being quiet; after all it is New Years Eve.

Pick a number for attendance.  I'll take the under.  Especially for students.

Believe I saw Al Amadou will be there.

I hope you are right, but the attendance at the Providence game was predicted to be light by someone here. I think Providence is considered the city's team- not just a college team- so some of that loud crowd may have been nonstudents. I think the students that were there were, ummm, very present.

Our game on Tuesday looked well attended as the lower bowl was packed and the crowd was pretty vocal cheering the team on. There seemed to be quite a few students in attendance when the camera panned the student section. It will be no different at the Pavilion on Saturday.

It was a very nice crowd on Tuesday night. It was bigger than I expected and pretty loud. I think the casual fan is coming back.
