The measure of inflation is a year-over-year calculation and not a comparison of this month to last month. 8.5% inflation in June and 8.5% inflation in July DOES NOT mean zero inflation. It means that inflation held steady------at 8.5%.

Heard a quote from Dwyane Wade from this event speaking to the current team that went something like this...

Thought that was an extremely cool quote. Dwyane Wade just continues to get what it is about.

I remember when they won the CUSA tourney and he was waving the flag sitting on top of the shoulders of the crowd/team.  You just knew something big was happening.  I can't imagine having the awareness to realize it as a player.  Who knows—maybe it's something that has come to him with all the success ls he has had.

We never won the CUSA tourney with Wade. Lost in the finals to Cincy in 2002, lost our opening game to UAB in 2003. We had over 30 turnovers, Wade had 10. Obviously the extra rest didn't hurt us.
