"Diener re-injured his right ankle in Tuesday's loss to the Celtics when he stepped on referee Bennett Salvatore's foot in the fourth quarter, the Indianapolis Star reports. Diener is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Pistons. With Jamaal Tinsley already out, this means that the Pacers would be down to their third string point guard."

I noticed that. Too bad, but it doesn't sound too serious. Hopefully he can be back out there soon, because I am liking his career trajectory. He could be making those of us who were convinced that he would play a long time in the NBA look pretty smart.
