Marquette is starting to get some notice around the country.  Lunardi has Marquette in the top 16.  CBS has Marquette in the Top 16.  The Field of 68 has a discussion starting in 10 minutes with Marquette sweeping Villanova being a topic of discussion.  If you can't catch it live, you will be able to watch the replay via Youtube.

I listened to it. Decourcey and Dauster said MU has the best chance to get to the final four of any of the BE teams. They definitely view MU as a very legit team.

I agree as well. I see it as us and Providence, mainly because Nova just doesn't have that offensive firepower they had years back with Mikal Bridges and Donte Divincenzo.

Look, I remember the glory days as well as anyone -- and want them back in the worst way.

But us in the Final Four -- uhh, Coach Shaka has done marvelous things this year but if make the Final Four, that act would elevate Coach Shaka to Al status!

We have a lot going for us -- sturdy defense, cohesive team etc., but as much as I want a Final Four and will scream hard for it, I'm not sure we're quite there yet.

Have any of you seen Gonzaga, Auburn, Purdue and Kentucky play? UCLA, ok, we all have!

While I think Kentucky may be "gettable," the rest of that group will be touch as nails. While nothing is impossible, the road to the Final Four will be a huge uphill climb!

Prove me wrong! Look forward to being in New Orleans!

They didn't say Marquette was going to make the Final Four, just that they have the best chance of anyone in the Big East. I think all Big East teams are susceptible to a 1st weekend exit, but Marquette has a tournament roster.

They have a good starting lineup. Depth and shooting off the bench. Senior leadership. Fearless Freshman. An excellent point guard. Fantastic Defense. Shot blockers, you name it.

Could they lose in this 1st weekend. Yes. But we at least know they are capable of beating anybody.

The least gettable from my perspective are Kentucky and Auburn out of those 4.

Kentucky absolutely dominated the class of the b12 at the Phog. And like Auburn has SO MANY weapons.

Oddly enough I think we'd match up best with the Zags.

Crazier things have certainly happened.  Things like our current coach getting an 11-seed mid-major with a 23-11 record to the FF.
