He's not predicting anything.  That's what the numbers are predicting and that's pretty much a toss-up number on his site.

He has Marquette figured out pretty well, too.  They've risen steadily over the last month and his numbers have matched up with what our eyes show us.

It's a conference road game against a projected tourney team.  I'd say it's spot-on as a prediction goes.

But that's why they play the games.  I'd bet the other way on this one and take the Quette

I guess I get my hackles up a bit when folks go into a game (or season) looking at kenpom or torvik and act like those services are gospel. Not saying that's you.

I wouldn't bet on this one (or any of them really), but I'm looking forward to beating the not just the spread again, and not just the kenpom numbers again, but also the opponent again. The Marqu's gonna whup The Provi!

I would never ever put myself in a position to cheer for the team playing Marquette. Ever.
You would hope that Justin misses a last second shot to win the game to make a few bucks?? unnatural carnal knowledge that. Go MU!

No..I'd 100% be rooting for Justin to hit the last second shot, and for us to win...as I don't care about losing a few bucks on a bet!  However, if we lose, as I'd mentioned it's a consolation prize.  I'll be bummed if we lose, but if I win $50..well...it's not as bad as losing and winning nothing.   

That aside, I'm going with MU now +2.5 for just a $50 wager.  I've won a lot on MU the last 6 games, just feels as though at some point we'll have a bit of a clunker.
