I went to a concert a year or two after Diener graduated. After the show, we were having a drink at the bar and talking to the guitarist of the band, who happened to originally be from Louisville and was a big Cards BB fan.  Somehow my friend I was with being a Marquette student came up and the guy's eyes light up.  Not the FF, not Wade...

"Marquette? Man, Travis Diener, I HATED that guy.  He was absolutely ruthless, he KILLED us" while chuckling.  It was amazing

He was.  He wasn't Larry Bird or MJ level, but he jawed plenty.  I mean, the 3 fingers up running down the court after a make from deep?  That wasn't just to pump up the hometown fans.
