Wisconsin vs Duke

I'd rather beat Wisconsin, but it's a tough question for me.  A win over Duke gets you so much more national attention and opens up more eyes than beating a Wisconsin, but I hate Wisconsin much more.  I love having bragging rights over them, can't stand listening to them when we don't, and feel like we need to beat them for recruiting battles.  We fight over many of the same players.  We don't really compete with Duke for recruits, though I long for the day that we do!

In all reality, a win over Duke is far superior than a win over Wisconsin. I'd much rather beat the current powerhouse of this era. I wouldnt mind beating WI on saturday tho. I'll be there...7:00 AM! WIth my hot cider and rum. Face painted.

Duke

I say Duke, just because we don't get to play them as often as WI, and a win over Duke, the nation notices, a win over WI is only for state bragging rights, and really being in the Big East, that's not as important as it use to be as many of MU's recruits are now coming from out of state.

I say Wisconsin..

I'd feel a lot more crappy losing to wisconsin than duke.  Wisconsin, to me, seems to be a lot more overrated year-to-year than duke (and that's saying something).  Losing to Duke wouldn't be that big of a deal - everyone is expected to lose to them, remember?

Not that wisconsin is a mid-major by any means but that's kinda what the poll boils down to a parallel with: would you rather lose to a mid-major or a powerhouse?

absolutely the baadjrs..., maybe then the milwaukee media will start to give mu equal coverage, but I wouldn't hold my breath.  chnl 4 doesn't even give mu game results, but has film of uw the day after!  Insane!
(BTW, funny to hear Homer plugging his "baadjr hour" radio show on 100.5 yesterday on way thru madison).
