They still reflect the 2023-2024 conference alignments.

Sixteen total, not fifteen, now that I count again while sober(ish).

Once upon a time, it actually was a C, but not for Cougars. WSU was once WSC (Washington State College). They have an article about the logo history (with a picture of the old WSC logo!) here: https://trademarks.wsu.edu/logo-history/
