Does anyone know if Marquette received buyout money when Crean and Buzz left?

I think we did for Buzz, but thought his buyout was a surprisingly low number.

Thanks. A smaller buyout for Buzz makes some sense to me, considering the circus around his contract at the end of every season.

I was able to find a Hoosier blog from 2008 saying that IU paid $650,000 towards Crean's buyout at Marquette. Unclear if there was a portion that Crean paid. Regardless, that number seems low given Crean's stature at the time but maybe that was a decent amount 13 years ago.

Buzz's buyout was only $100,000.  It dropped after a trigger in his clause if, I believe, the AD and/or President left.
