Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

I sat next to Lon on a Southwest flight to Atlanta 7 years ago.  He couldn't have been nicer.  He was on his way to the Peach Jam, and I was flying for work.

I thanked him for knocking Bucky out of the tourney a couple years prior, during his time at UNLV.

I also asked how his team looked that year, and he said "things looked good". This was just prior to Oklahoma making the Final 4 run with Buddy Hield, and I had no ideal how good they were. Lol.

Finally, he asked which school I followed, when I told him MU - he immediately said, "you've got a good one in Wojo".

That's my Lon Kruger run-in.  Seemed like a great guy!

Paul Mills (Oral Roberts), Grant McCasland (North Texas), Craig Smith, Kyle Keller (Stephen Stone Cold Austin) and Mark Turgeon listed as some of top candidates to replace Kruger.

That would be a stunner.

As an aside, Craig Smith is about to get PAID by Utah State or Utah. Dude is in every convo

That list goes from very intriguing to "ugh no thank you" in a hurry

Kruger is a class act who made every college program that employed him better.
