I am usually pretty optimistic, but just have a bad vibe about this game.
I believe since Georgetown inserted Bile in the starting lineup, they have played alot better than earlier in the season.  Their frontline line is long and lengthy with 6ft7 Bile, 6ft 9 Pickett and 7 footer Wahab.  MU has a propensity for getting their shots blocked and I am hoping that does not continue.

Garcia has been positioning at the top of the key in the "MU weave offense" and hopefully this will get Pickett or Wahab away from the basket.  If not, Garcia will have to make some outside shots otherwise he will not be able to drive to the basket. Same with Theo, his little hook shot will not be in play, it will be blasted back in his face. Cain and Garcia have to hit those outside shots tonight.

As far as the backcourt, Blair is leading scorer and can really go off at times, Koby will probably get that assignment and wish that he can shut him down without getting in foul trouble.  Harris is a freshman and it is time that Carton plays like he can for a full game.  He should dominate Harris from the start and put up big numbers.

The good news is that Georgetown has no bench and any foul trouble/fatigue to Bile, Blair, Pickett or Wahab could lead to big problems.  I think MU will have to hit the three ball at a great rate, limit turnovers to 10/11, and Carton must go off in order to win the game. I know, a bunch of "ifs".

Let's hope the team is not looking past this game to a decimated Nova team matchup.

Just based on what I've read here, I do feel that many (most?) Scoopers are assuming we'll win.

Here's hoping the players aren't similarly looking past the Hoyas.

Since they returned from their COVID-19 break, they are 6-4, with the 4 losses to UConn (twice), Creighton and healthy Nova. They have wins over Creighton, Xavier, Seton Hall, Providence, Butler and DePaul.

Bolded is just unrealistic!

I think we'll win today but it could certainly go either way. Georgetown has been playing a lot better since they gave Bile more minutes, but MU has been playing better since Greg started playing more. MU has two solid wins in the last five, over UNC and X. Two additional road wins vs. Butler and DePaul, and a loss vs. Uconn. Georgetown has two solid wins against SHU and Xavier, and also beat Butler and DePaul in their last 6. Only two losses are to Uconn.

All that to say, both teams are playing better and have fared similarly against near identical schedules.

I tend to worry about every game lately.  With the arrival of U Conn and the improvement of St Johs and  Georgetown  the conference has ten quality programs.  I sincerely doubt that any other conference can boast that kind of density.  Every game in the Big East is worrisome.

Buy GME, but only at the top.

No, but like I said in initial post, had to make those threes and no turnover issue.  Alot, I mean alot of the threes were wide open and just clunked; and DJ had almost 10 turnovers.  Ballgame.
