We were fortunate X missed a number of open looks to close the game on Saturday.  I thought there were times our high traps with Theo were effective and he was able to recover. Other times, and especially towards the end of the game and when Theo was on the bench, the high hedge was somewhat of a disaster.

I watched Loyola yesterday and was very impressed with how their guards managed the high screens.  Sometimes they switched but more often they maneuvered around them and got back to their man.

This particular strategy of Wojo's has always troubled me but I guess it's silly to think there will be a serious adjustment.  Anyway, when Dawson or Justin are playing the 5 and trapping smalls 35 feet from the rim, it seems to me they are way late recovering .

Are we allowing the screen too high which gives the opposing team way more room to operate?  If DG or JT can't recover should our other players be helping closer to the FT line or trying to draw charges?  In other words is there anything that can be tweaked from this strategy if we insist that it's the best course of action?  Personally, I don't like it and think both Dawson and Justin are nowhere close to recovering on a consistent basis.
