TAMU, Knower of Ball

Appreciate what Greg did and happy for him. But 14 and 14 can't be ignored.

I do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.

Gregory.   Career high.  Was the energy bunny.

To me its Greg.  This team needed something during this stretch, and he provided and it was not in the Stats but things you can feel, but can not Measure.

You nailed it, way too much emphasis on statistics.  Did I witness leadership on the court tonight rather than from the cheering bench?  GREG for his leadership.

SUGAR!  [CAIN]
really loved Greg however

This is probably not the ideal topic to express appreciation for the recruiting class lead by Theo, but the posts from Warrior Hal and TAMU from last night open the door.  Injuries have figured a great deal into this class (especially Ike Eke), but over the course of four years these not so highly rated recruits have improved to the  extent that they are even mentioned for Stud of the Game. Not to take away from their accomplishments, but there have been times over the years that each player was probably judged as a turnover waiting to happen. Their college careers are not over, but their progress deserves recognition.
Hopefully in the future, whoever is the coach, the staff can coach any less than 5* recruits to be fully functional members of the team by the beginning of their junior year. (Maybe Symir could be an example if he can develop an average outside shot.)
Back on topic, while recognizing both Greg's and Jamal's overall play, I vote for Cain because he seemed to have a slightly better overall game.

Nicely said.  Whatever you want to say about the abilities and record of Greg, Jamal and Theo, one thing is for sure, they compete.

And they have improved.

The Toejam and Earl one makes me smile. Man, if you gave kids now access to a game like that, they would be like what the heck was wrong with kids back then.
