The job title is 'Head Basketball Coach'
« on: March 04, 2020, 12:22:38 PM »
The job is Head Basketball Coach.

It's not Head Basketball Recruiter.
It's not Head basketball politician.
It's not Head Basketball powerpoint guy.
It's not Head basketball nice guy.
It's not Head Basketball next year maybe.
It's not Head Basketball run a clean program guy (although that's important).

If the guy cannot coach, he does not deserve the job.

Unfortunately, this guy cannot coach.

Would you hire an accountant who cannot use spreadsheets?
A draftsman who cannot hold the pencil?
An engineer who cannot do math?
A lawyer who cannot read?

I think no...

MU has a basketball coach who cannot coach.

I like Wojo and everything he has done personally and I respect him as a person and for running a clean program but he has two straight late season collapses and loses games due to lack of coaching ability.  Probably 3 or 4 this year.

MU deserves a coach who knows how to coach and win games.

Bingo!

The title is not president of basketball operations. He is much more suited for that title.

Exactly.  Wojo would be perfect fit for a position with the NCAA.

Come on, if someone thinks that is all the job entails to have a winning program I have a bridge for them.  Yes, he should know the X and Os.
