Matt Norlander ranked Marquette's non-con schedule 14th in the country, but I think it's in some ways sneakily better than that. Not because it is the toughest, but because it's tougher on paper than I feel it will be on the court. Mike Broeker and the Athletic Department really threaded the needle on this one.

Cupcakes doing their job so far, even though it's early. They are 9-2 in league play, with both losses being pretty unfortunate. Jacksonville squandered a road lead in the final 2 minutes while Central Arkansas conceded a 16-2 run from the final 2 minutes of regulation into overtime to lose in a road OT game. Here are the totals:

Loyola-Maryland 1-0
Robert Morris 2-0
Jacksonville 0-1
Grambling 1-0
North Dakota State 2-0
Central Arkansas 3-1
