The Equalizer

Heaven forbid people look at data like seating capacity and attendance (FACTS SHMACTS!), as well as do a simple google search to figure out if Providence and Seton Hall have been to Final Fours.  For f*** sake, Seton Hall played in one of the more memorable National Championship games.  FACEPALM.

Today's HS seniors were born around 1995. I doubt they remember that 1989 National Championship game with Seton Hall.  Nor would they remember PC's 1987 final four or DePaul's in 1979.

At some point, the statute of limitations runs out on using a prior final four run/national championship as a reason why the public today should pay any attention. I think Seton Hall is probably long past that point (as has Providence and DePaul).  At some point, you have to renew that success for contemporary audiences to think if you as a successful team.

Agreed that those Final Fours were many moons ago compared to '03, but for a poster to suggest that we drop Seton Hall or Providence, etc., claiming that they haven't been to a Final Four should be corrected on that blatant ignorance.
