I'll be moving to Fox Point in the coming weeks and I see that my current ISP, ATT Fiber, isn't available.

What is the best, speediest, ISP in the area? I work from home and need to have a consistent service....

Thanks!

The Northshore area has been dominated by Spectrum Cable for a while.   I'm in a lucky spot with AT&T fiber .. if that's not available for your address .. you probably only have one choice.

I've had no problems with Spectrum's internet. Buy a decent modem, and it'll pay for itself in a few months.

.. I thought Spectrum went with the free-rental model, so buying your own was no longer a money saver.

And the limiting factor is usually the wireless router, not the modem.  And I think if you have multiple people using multiple devices, you should spend your money on a good router.

Huh, sure enough. I hadn't bothered to look.
