One thing I'm not sure got mentioned. At the under-4 (actually 4:02 I think) Nova hit a shot & Jay Wright immediately called timeout. The game went to commerical, and Wright went to work on one of the refs. Instead of gameplanning, he spent the bulk of the break, at least 20-30 seconds straight, just laying into the ref. It was the kind of beratement you could never get away with in game. Quite possibly the longest coach-to-ref conversation I've ever seen at a live game.

After that, Nova went full press and, to me, the rest of the game felt like the Butler game last year. The one where Butler was beaten but didn't give up and Markus got injured because of it. That's right before Gillespie was mugging Markus & Nova was turning up the pressure.

I have no doubt the ugly last few minutes were a direct result of Wright's lambasting of the ref.
