I don't mean to stoke the flames here -- really, I don't -- but I do find it interesting how this tournament has progressed.  We learned right away that the "let's wait and see how Murray State does" approach didn't age very well.  And things haven't gotten better since then.  I'm wondering whether the total margin of victory will reach 100.  I'm wondering is this is a record.

Murray State over Marquette = 19
Florida State over Murray State = 28
Gonzaga over Florida State = 14
Texas Tech over Gonzaga = 6

The total stands at 67.  If the pattern continues, look for Michigan State to lose to either Virginia or Auburn in the final.

Obviously, I was really disappointed with home the season finished.  If Marquette was playing Texas Tech today and somebody was offering me 66 points, I think I'd take Marquette and the points.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.
