Jay Bilas has MU as a final four contender

Bilas just released his 1-68 college basketball rankings and lists Marquette as a final four contender. Not sure that I agree we're a final four contender but it's very nice to see the coverage.

I'm OK with him listing us as a contender. After all, some of the teams he lists are likely to make it.

Now, if he called us a lock or a favorite.

Of course we are a contender to go to the Final Four!  You think MU couldn't do what Loyola did last year?  Might just need Markus to go off in one game or to have the bracket open up a bit, it could certainly happen.

Hard to argue with his logic. Definitely think they have as a good of a chance as the teams he noted. Going to be interesting to see the ultimate seed and location. Minneapolis would be a fun trip for FF.

What little I remember from 2003 indicates to me that a 2019 remake would be completely unmemorable.

-our FT shooting
-Bailey's agility and D at guarding star players on the perimeter. 

We still need Chartouny to pull a Trent Locket and go from sub-par regular season to post-season key performer.
