Shooting from the dawg....

https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/butler/2019/01/29/butler-basketball-marquette-preview-markus-howard-kamar-baldwin/2699788002/

Interesting that Butler ranks near the bottom of D1 at both getting to the foul line and putting opponents on it. Could bode well for Theo staying on the floor and Markus and The broHaus getting to the line.
Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she’d be a super horse......what’s this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...

Some version of the "Local U Must Stop Markus Howard ... " headline has appeared on top of almost every game-day article this season.

I can't say those headlines are inaccurate -- I mean, Markus is the obvious one an opponent has to stop. However, what's become a comfort to me as a Marquette fan is that even when Markus is being held in check, we now have a team that's very capable of winning thanks to our other scoring options, our defense and our coaching.

Game is at the same time as "School of Rock"? Could put a damper on attendance....
