18-19  @ SJU wins 89-69
17-18 @ SJU wins 86-78
16-17 @ SJU wins 86-72
14-15 @ MU SJU wins 67-51

Bottom line, we haven't matched up well with them over the years and they have taken advantage of the differences in style, especially at their place.  Most here knew this was going to be a tough game, especially after SJU was screwed at SHU.

Time to focus on X.

Yep and each of the past 3 seasons we've handled them at home. It'll be fine. It was our toughest game, IMO. Bounce back against X. We probably lose against Creighton and then I think we go on a bit of a run. 7-3 over the first 10 in conference.

we lost by a bit more than 8 last year there. Back to back ass kickings. I think history will repeat itself and we give it back to them in a month.

We trailed at times by more than 8, but the final score was an 8 point loss.

Just went through the box score. The score was closer than I thought. My only memory of that game was seeing Ponds' shots go through the basket.

I fully understand. Honestly, that felt like a more dominating performance to me than tonight did.

Our toughest game will be at Villanova in my opinion.  I hate playing at Carnesecca's gym, but I would rate this as second most difficult....on the road they all are difficult.
"I hate everything about this job except the games, Everything. I don't even get affected anymore by the winning, by the ratings, those things. The trouble is, it will sound like an excuse because we've never won the national championship, but winning just isn't all that important to me." Al McGuire
