It seemed to me that strong emphasis was put on getting the ball inside the zone to create offensive opportunities. That's logical to me and if we hadn't missed too many 0-2 footers particularly in the 1st half, the game would have obvisouly been much different.

However with such an emphasis on driving the lane, it did also appear that our perimeter shooters were gun shy to let it fly tonight.  Guys like Coobey, Dan and even our staring 3 guards appeared more reluctant than usual.  Lville closed in well on some shots but there were times when our guys just wouldn't pull the trigger.

Failing to strike any semblance of an outside/inside shooting balance or threat is what led to the loss in my opinoin.  Maybe that's due to the game planning, but then again, if they hadn't missed all those bunnies in the first half, this post would be much different, too.

There was a noticable reluctance of our guards to pull the trigger on opportunities on the perimeter.  Get tentative, and they'll smell blood in the water.  They attacked, and we took it on the f-ing chin every single time, the entire game.  I am really disappointed in our confidence in this game.  What was the deal?  How many games have these kids played in that house?  Come on....

How many open threes did we pass up the first 12 minutes of the second half? Seemed like a lot to me. We got gun shy after the poor first half.
