I generally agree with you here.  However, we weren't very good in the Win/Loss department in Year 1 and 2 of the Wojo regime.  Losing Rowsey will be a HUGE blow offensively, and though I agree that we will be improved defensively with him moving on, coupled with addition of Morrow - I fear that our offense will fall into the 45-65 range, after being 8th last year and 13th this year.

Rowsey's incredible talent for hitting from distance, being able to create his shot, get to the FT Line all added incredible value to our team this year, and O-Rating.

I thought THIS year we'd take a step back offensively. Losing Reinhardt, JJ, Duane, Luke. Instead, we barely regressed. I think we'll be perfectly fine on offense. Top 25.

Last year we lost Johnson, Fischer, and Reinhardt and barely regressed. Rowsey and Howard put up two of the three highest scoring totals in program history in the same season. We add a five-star forward that can score, a forward that averaged 9 ppg in a high-major conference, and have three guys that were virtual freshmen (Anim, Elliott, Cain) and put up better numbers as the season went on getting an extra year of experience. The last thing I'm worried about is the offense.

The defense, absolutely. The offense, not even remotely.

Honestly felt that was one of the better teams we played all year.  Not sure if that is the normal output of the Lions, but they played well.  I can see how they beat Ohio State three times when they are clicking.  Tony Carr is a nice player. If he stays, that could be a top 25 team next season.

I finally decided to look at who won the other games to get to New York. What struck me was that all the higher seeds(home teams) loss their third round games. MU loss was by the least amount of points. Louisville had the widest margin loss.

Penn State up 63-41 over Miss State at the end of 3 Quarters.  Definitely were the best team in the NIT. Pomeroy is the man.
