Did you know Milwaukee has a flag?

It was recently voted 147th of 150 city flags.  (Chicago's flag was #2, DC was #1).   There is a move to replace it with this one (representing the sun rising over Lake Michigan)

The Wall Street Journal has a wonderful story about this controversy.

Surprise! Your City Has a Flag and It's Terrible
Milwaukee decided to come up with a new banner, sparking new design efforts and also a fit of nostalgia for what one critic called 'a hot mess'

I didn't realize Big Ben was in Milwaukee
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

GGGG

BTW, I like the new flag.  They should be simple and distinctive.  Like a logo.

I completely agree with the poll.  DC and Chicago's flags are very cool to the extent that a flag can be cool.

Also, IIRC, the Milwaukee flag was among six that were put out.  I believe that people voted to select the one that would become the current flag.

Is it a coincidence these are MU colors?

Doesn't the basketball team have uniforms in four main colors and aren't they all represented below?

Here are the DC and Chicago flags, voted #1 and #2 out of 150 city flags surveyed.

They are very similar

And the Milwaukee flag has a picture of a flag in the middle, and it's sorta similar to those....
