Full trailer dropped this morning. Looks pretty good.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think the spin-off movies might end up being better than the new trilogy.  Is that merely a matter of expectations?

Early takes:
-Totally in for the Kessel Run and Donald Glover as Lando
-I think I'm really going to like the evolution of the Falcon
-I'm curious how much original EU backstory they will "re-canonize"
-I have concerns about Alden Enderich as Solo....on admittedly little evidence, I'm not sure he can pull off the Solo charm (though maybe he grows into it)
-I'm pretty sure I'm going to dislike the Qi'ra character

Pretty much this.  I expect some cool effects, Donald Glover to somehow pull off Lando, and little else.

In the trailer, supposedly what sucks you in, Alden Enderich was the weakest part.     I could imagine Ewan Mcgregor growing up and being the Alec Guinness Obi Wan Kenobi.     Alden seems too leprechaun-ish to grow up to be the roguish Harrison Ford Han Solo.

Major concern I have, they will have Solo "fight" the empire in this movie.....for the hero turn in ANH/OT to make sense he has to be an agnostic rogue(with the exception of Chewie).
