Mr. Nielsen

I saw this happen this morning on FS Wisconsin. It had to be one of the worst things I have ever seen during a sporting event.

Happened to somebody I was playing pickup basketball with yesterday. 11 guys in the building. Luckily there was an AED outside of the gym. Pulse came back after some chest compressions and the second shock with the AED while waiting for the paramedics to get to the gym. They couldn't believe we had to shock him twice.

Did they play out the rest of the game? We obviously called it a night. Definitely traumatic for everyone there.

Terrifying moment.  Thank goodness they now have AEDs in so many places.

Both teams went in the locker room for about 20 minutes in a arena that was died slient. They did finish the game.

Bulldogs head coach Murray Garvin accompanied Solomon to the hospital and later reported that the four-year starter at point guard was "awake and responding" at the hospital.
