ND on Saturday.
« on: January 09, 2008, 10:04:53 AM »
by the looks of last nights game against Seton Hall... we are royally F'd this coming saturday. Dont get me wrong, saturday is my birthday and i am looking forward to being F'd but not by notre dame or the seahawks for that matter.

thing we need to work on:
- offense in every regard.
we looked aweful. what was the deal with 7:30 in the second half when we were shooting nothing but threes? we were down 4 or 5 at the time and we were shooting like we were down 3 with 38 seconds left. I know that we love the three, but come on. there was plenty of time left in the game and all we could do is run a frantic perimeter offense??? From previous posts when discussing the need for a true big man, this is a prime example. Seton Hall was running a zone defense a majority of the game and while we were penetrating it pretty well, we were doing nothign with it other than taking it straight up into the opposing defenders for a turnover. Osman and DB are not that strong to be a real presence (completly F'd if Harangody plays like he did against WV- missing only one shot in the first half), a presence which we need if we run an unfounded peremiter offense. Could rant about this all day.
Coach needs to open up a coaching for dummies book and learn some set plays, and actually have them executed in the game. More often then not it looks like we use a improvosational offense and in bounds plays. I cant be the only one that thinks "Tan Tom" could use a little help in the offense area?!
