He has resurrected 2 programs in the last 3 years.

You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

I'm not sure West Virginia needed resurrecting, but once he gets his players in there, they should be an elite team in the Big East.

He really is pretty amazing.  How many top guys did he rope into K-State?  .. Boom, another team, and he'll guide them to a bid, probably top 5 in the BE.  Amazing coach and recruiter.

SGWarrior

I liked him better at Kansas State where we only had to matchup against him in preseason scrimmages.

Daniel

Yes.  He is very good.  That's what makes him so annoying to me.  He can beat us with an inferior team.

CTWarrior

His teams play defense like it is life and death.  I admire him as a coach.  He has always given us trouble.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) --- Bob Huggins couldn't take all the credit for his first signature victory as coach at West Virginia.

Calling on Southern California coach Tim Floyd and quickly installing his seldom-used 1-3-1 zone defense, the Mountaineers routed Marquette (No. 11 ESPN/USA Today, No. 10 AP) 79-64 on Sunday for Huggins' 601st career victory.

"I was hoping that would get them out of rhythm," Huggins said. "I have never done it in my career, so there is no way they could have known we were going to do it. I watched the USC-Memphis game and saw how USC really bothered a good Memphis team, so I called Tim Floyd. He helped us out."
